Wickers Gymnastics Club jumps on board

Ropetackle Arts Centre is delighted to welcome Wickers Gymnastics Club as a business sponsor. Wickers will be specifically supporting performances of Short Stories, Tall Tales at Ropetackle over the next year.

These are individually written, interactive shows for children, which take place at Ropetackle regularly. Wickers, based in Lancing, opened in 1988 and offers a wide range of gymnastic sessions to young people and adults of all ages, ranging from babies and pre-school sessions, to senior school age and adult gymnastics.

Through its sponsorship of Ropetackle, Wickers is able to offer young people from across the region access to top-quality drama, whilst at the same time, widening its marketing reach.

Short Stories Tall Tales was founded in 2016 by actress and singer Hannah Summers during her first few years as a new Mum and her storytelling shows have become popular regular theatrical events for families with young children.

Katy Hodgson-Kerr, Director of Wickers Gymnastics Club, said “We’re thrilled to be sponsoring Ropetackle and specifically being part of its community programme which engages young people in creative drama. It’s a wonderful way for us to engage with a fresh potential customer base and reach new audiences.”

Martin Allen, Chairman of Ropetackle Arts Centre said “We’re really pleased to have Wickers Gymnastic Club on board as part of our growing group of business sponsors. Ropetackle is at the heart of the community in Shoreham-by-Sea and very much bridges the gap between Brighton and Worthing. Businesses that partner with Ropetackle find that they are part of a dynamic and expanding group, that we value tremendously and work hard to deliver benefits for”.
