About Ropetackle Arts Centre
Shoreham-by-Sea’s award-winning community arts venue, situated on the banks of the River Adur.
Ropetackle Arts Centre is a purpose built venue that attracts fantastic artists from the UK and beyond.
We are known for welcoming big names, with an intimate, friendly ambience. A registered charity, Ropetackle is run by a small staff team and almost 80 volunteers.
Situated in the heart of Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, we are proud to be a social and creative hub for the whole community. The superbly-equipped auditorium performance space seats 200, or 350 standing for live music, theatre, film, comedy and dance.
A separate fully-accessible mezzanine space is perfect for smaller events, activities or private meetings) A large light and airy foyer houses our in-house café-bar, as well as hosting launches and community events.
