Film Club

There is nothing like watching a film the way it is supposed to be seen – on a big screen in a darkened room with other people.

Ropetackle Film Club Shoreham Ropetackle Movies

Film Club Season 9 started in September 2021 and is proving to be as popular as ever with many old and new members joining us to enjoy the new season of films being screened.

Films that will make you laugh, maybe cry, think about, talk about, or just relax with. Films that may be old friends and films you may never have thought of seeing at all.

So, as always, there is the now-expected eclectic mix of old and newer films, different genres, foreign, English speaking… actually, you need to become a member and find out for yourself! It’s not too late. See the full list of this season’s screenings below.

There is a total of ten films in each season. Membership for Season 9 started in September 2021 and will close in January 2022. An annual membership costs just £30. There are no other charges, although you may buy a guest ticket for £6 if you wish.

As a Film Club member you will be able contribute to the choice of films for the next season and you will have a voice and a vote at the AGM. There is a flourishing Film Club Facebook page for your comments and ideas.

Film Club screens at 7.30pm on usually the second Thursday of each month. To enhance your enjoyment, why not order a pre-film supper from Lesley’s Kitchen at a very reasonable price? And the bar is always open.

You will find membership forms on the Film Club noticeboard in the Ropetackle foyer, at the box office, in local libraries and community centres, as well as various shops and outlets in the area.

You can also join online here.
