An eclectic programme of 10 films for just £35
There is nothing like watching a film the way it is supposed to be seen – on a big screen in a darkened room with other people.
If you love watching films on the big screen with full surround sound, meeting like-minded people, being involved in your local cinema and not having to worry about steep parking prices or negotiating the crowds, then the Ropetackle Film Club is for you!
There are a total of ten films in each season. Membership for Season 12 starts in September 2024 and runs until June 2025. The annual membership costs just £35. There are no other charges, members may bring a guest, the guest ticket price is £7.

- 10 films for the one-off fee of £35, that’s £3.50 per film!
- A huge welcome at all films.
- Nominating and selecting films for the following season.
- Guest tickets for friends or family - £7 each.
- A voice and a vote at the AGM.
- A Facebook page for comments and post-film discussion.
- Eligibility for the film committee (if there are spaces).
- Occasional extras e.g. free post-film drink, reduced prices for other films.

As a Film Club member, you will be able contribute to the choice of films for the next season and have a voice and a vote at the AGM. There is a flourishing Film Club Facebook page for your comments and ideas.
Films start at 7.30pm, and are shown from September to June (except December), usually on the second Thursday of each month.
Members receive an email around one week before the film showing, giving some details about the forthcoming film and the pre-show supper menu (you can opt out of receiving emails)
