Film Club

There is nothing like watching a film the way it is supposed to be seen – on a big screen in a darkened room with other people.

Season 10 films have been chosen by Film Club members.

Ropetackle Film Club Shoreham Movies

If you love watching films on the big screen with full surround sound, meeting like-minded people, being involved in your local cinema and not having to worry about steep parking prices or negotiating the crowds, then the Ropetackle Film Club is for you!

  • the opportunity to contribute to the choice of films for the next season
  • an invitation to the AGM where your voice will be heard and your vote will count
  • you may be offered additional treats like a free film, an additional film at a reduced price or have a post film complementary drink

“The Ropetackle family have been just brilliant and the Film Club has been amazing. I am so glad to have had my horizon widened from weeping camels and birds of prey (Eagle Huntress) to Tarantino films and the recent Long Kiss Goodnight which I would never have chosen myself and still can’t believe that I could laugh at violence!” ~ Film Club Member

Club screens at 7.30pm, usually the second Thursday of each month. To enhance your enjoyment, why not come early for a drink at the bar or order a pre-film supper from Lesley’s Kitchen served from 6pm. Booking is essential at lesleyskitchenltd@gmail.com or call 07525 622662.
