cafe ladies

From July 2020, our café area will be closed until further notice. Please note that we will be serving light refreshments ahead of films and other events taking place, while our partners at Lesley’s Kitchen are running a limited-capacity supper club from 7th August- see here for details.

Thank you for your understanding.

The popular, award-winning Ropetackle Café is a real hub of the community. The large, light and airy foyer is perfect for enjoying a relaxing coffee, meeting with friends for lunch or getting some work done with our free wi-fi. A child-friendly area gives busy parents and carers space to relax while children are occupied with toys, books and drawing.

With new specials, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options and even milkshakes for particular diets, there’s something for everyone. Any profits from the café go directly to the Ropetackle charity and are re-invested in our exceptional programme of events.

Daily soups and specials are created from fresh seasonal produce, and there is an extensive range of scrumptious cakes to enjoy, as well as freshly-prepared sandwiches, paninis and jacket potatoes.

Follow us on social media (see below) to find out the latest news.

Our bars are open 1 hour before each evening performance.

We sell an excellent range of Wines, Beers, Ales and Spirits as well as soft drinks and snacks.
