Banish the winter blues and get into the mood this Valentine’s day at our spectacular Latin Dance Party Valentine’s Day Special. The event kicks off with a fun and friendly dance class from the most popular teacher on the South Coast, Leo Henriquez, direct from Havana Cuba.
To follow, we have not one but two of the UK’s finest Latin Dance bands. First we present Pollito Boogaloo. Led by charismatic Colombian vocalist Rafael 'we like it hot' Berrio, have their roots in Colombian Cumbia, Vallanato, Salsa and a host of Latin American Styles and are guaranteed to take the party to the next level. Then we seal the deal with Son Guarachando, one of the top exponents of Cuban Son, Salsa, Cumbia and Latin Music working in the UK today. They are fronted by vocalist Adriana Lord from Havana, Cuba who has been a leading force on the Havana Scene for well over a decade having worked with the likes of William Vivanco, Eliades Ochoa (Buena Vista Social Club) and NG La Banda. Individually the band members have been at the apex of the Latin music scenes of Colombia, Spain, Cuba and the U.K.
The Latin Dance Party was a total sell out at the Brighton Festival Spiegeltent in 2024. Now we’ll bring the same tropical dance magic to the Ropetackle for Valentine's Day. Can’t wait to see you there!
