Simply Dan are an 11-piece band that focus on the harmonies and intricate rhythms of Donald Fagen’s band Steely Dan. They include a 4-piece horn section along with two soulful backing vocalists, adding to the already rich harmonies and sound.
Simply Dan aim to do justice to one of the world’s most interesting and challenging bands. Performing songs from across the back catalogue, from the early days with Walter Becker through to later influences of Larry Carlton and Steve Gadd, Simply Dan aim to thrill you with an accurate and authentic rendition of all the classics!
The band formed in late 2016 when members Mark Roadnight, Mark Claydon and Roger Evan decided to work on a group that that could deliver the beauty and virtuosity of Steely Dan while still portraying the fun of a stage show.
The band members have performed with a diverse range of artists including Raye, Graeme Clark (wetwetwet), Tony Christie, Pee Wee Ellis, Marcella Detroit, and Liberty X just to name a few.
Following sell-out shows in 2022 and 2023, book early to avoid disappointment.
Please note, seating will be at the front, with standing space behind.
Pre show suppers
Meals are served from 6pm. A two-course meal is just £15.80. Mains are £12.50. Desserts are £3.50. Each menu has meat and vegetarian options, and special dietary requirements are taken into account.
