Short Stories Tall Tales: Nana Hannah and Her Hats

About this event

Nana Hannah and Her HatsAn original tale written and told by Hannah Summers.

Nana Hannah has a house, a house on a hill. A windy hill where you could see the sea. Wild and free was the sea and so was the house. Nana’s house has magic hats inside and inside her hats is a story.

Come and visit Nana Hannah on an epic imaginative adventure to a land far away. A voyage to an isle of pirates, maps and treasure.

Join Hannah for a shared interactive theatre experience for young children (0–5) and their grown-ups.

A live, immersive performance where stories are brought to life through storytelling, music, lights and sound, with projected illustrations creating a cinematic backdrop.

Set on a soft, foam-matted floor, families are invited to sit together, move, explore and take part, whether watching closely or stepping into the story through play.

The space can be lively, with energy, movement and noise, but the performance holds the story throughout, drawing children and adults into a shared theatrical world.

Created, written and performed by actor and mum, Hannah Summers.

Please note, all infants over one month old require a ticket, as this show is specifically aimed at babies and pre-schoolers.

Short Stories Tall Tales is proudly supported by Wickers Gymnastics, encouraging creativity, confidence and movement in young children. You can find out more here.
