About this event
*This event has been cancelled*
Residents of East Worthing and Shoreham have the chance to grill their local Parliamentary hopefuls for the General Election on Monday 23 March at 7.30pm at the Ropetackle Arts Centre at a special hustings event.
For the first time in 25 years, we are electing a new MP, so this event offers residents the opportunity to find out who the new candidates are, why they want to represent you and what they hope to do as an elected representative.
The event is being organised and co-hosted by Ropetackle Arts Centre and the Shoreham Society.
Each candidate will be given 5 minutes at the start of the evening to introduce themselves, after which there will be a short debate on key issues, including the economy, NHS, education, housing, immigration and important local issues. After an interval, they will address questions from the audience.
Attendees can submit questions before the hustings start at the Ropetackle Box Office, on the door, or during the interval.
THIS EVENT IS BEING RECORDED.
