Jackman is singer who is hired as an impersonator at a state fair but quits because he wants to sing for himself. Preparing to sing is Claire, who impersonates Patsy Cline. She suggests he go along the Neil Diamond route and they form tribute duo 'Lightning and Thunder', also beginning a relationship. Travails to come though in this toe-tapping weepie…
