About this event
Mark Brzezicki joined Big Country in 1981 and continues the sound and spirit of the band along with Simon Hough, Big Country’s vocalist for over a decade, Gil Allen, Big Country and The Skids' bassist and Ken Nicol on Guitar.
Steeped in a stunning catalogue of songs such as Fields of Fire, Chance, East of Eden, Look Away and signature song In A Big Country, along with massive albums The Seer, Steeltown, Peace In Our Time and the triple-Grammy-nominated The Crossing, From Big Country will perform the songs we know and love.
As well as being the foundation and backbone beat behind Big Country, Mark has held centre stage on the drum throne behind Eric Clapton, Midge Ure, The Cult, Procol Harum, Bruce Foxton, Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey and many more. He has performed beside Roger Taylor of Queen and Phil Collins of Genesis at the Prince's Trust Concert.
An AGMP Concerts presentation.
From Big Country will be supported by The Assist.
Ever since forming, The Assist has had their finger on the pulse of how the modern generation consume music. Soaking their soaring indie anthems with emotive breakdowns, it’s this eclectic adventurism that has seen them sell out venues across the UK as well as share the stage with Blossoms, The Twang and Dylan John Thomas.
