Since 2009, East London’s musical pioneers Hackney Colliery Band have redefined brass band conventions, captivating audiences with their high-energy shows and critically acclaimed releases.

Fifteen years into their journey, with career highlights including performing to 80,000 people at the 2012 London Olympics, the 9-piece ensemble is back with their much-anticipated sixth album: Collaborations: Volume Two.

Following the success of Collaborations: Volume One—which featured global icons like Grammy-winning Angélique Kidjo and Ethiopian jazz legend Mulatu Astatke—this new release takes a fresh approach. Expect a dynamic mix of vocal-led tracks and instrumentals enriched with harp, guitar, cello, and even conch shells.
