Talinka + The Orient House Ensemble

Saturday 19th January 2019 - Starts 8pm

A formidable double-bill!

Talinka is where folk, early music, jazz and tango merge into simplicity, harmony and warmth. They create a new and distinctive sound that explores the unique and diverse journeys of four British musicians: Jenny Bliss, a baroque virtuoso artist, Yaron Stavi, one of Europe’s leading bass players, Gilad Atzmon, an internationally-acclaimed jazz saxophonist with an affinity for ethnic sounds and his wife, Tali, whose singing has been paired up with her theatrical career.

The Orient House Ensemble has been touring extensively since 2000, wowing crowds with its unique blend of world jazz – a mixture of bebop, Balkan, Arabic and Tango.
