About this event
Join award-winning author and playwright, Jill Hucklesby.
With summer at its height, we’ll use Lord Frederick
Leighton’s 1895 painting, Flaming June, as a visual prompt and explore colour,
location and the narrative within it. We’ll also take inspiration from writing
by Edward Thomas and Marge Piercy before creating new work in your chosen
style. The workshop will include verbal
storytelling, quite writing time and the chance to share work with the group.
All abilities welcome.
18+ Please bring pen and paper. Duration: 2.5 hours
This Workshop will take place in the Mezzanine Room Upstairs
