Sunday Morning Jazz with Chris Coull
Bandleader and trumpeter Chris Coull hosts a relaxing series of Sunday morning jazz concerts.
This month, we’re delighted to present: “Ela Southgate sings João Gilberto with The Chris Coull Quartet.”
Following her much-lauded “Getz-Gilberto” concert earlier this year, vocalist Ela Southgate returns to The Ropetackle with a new programme celebrating the music of João Gilberto and his wife, Astrud—featuring timeless Bossa Nova classics by the legendary Antônio Carlos Jobim.
Ela will be joined by Chris Coull on trumpet, Mark Edwards on piano, Paul Whitten on double bass, and Joe Edwards on drums.
