Chris has played with and led bands throughout the world, including 15 years as Director of Doha Jazz in Qatar. Melodic and thoughtful, his approach takes inspiration from classic 50s and 60s players such as Clifford Brown, Miles Davis and Kenny Dorham.
This special Boxing Day concert sees Chris joined by several multi-award winning musicians, including jazz vocalist Georgia Mancio, world-renowned saxophonist Alan Barnes, and Sussex based pianist Mark Edwards.
Georgia won the Parliamentary Jazz Award for Best Vocalist in 2021, Best Album in 2020, and has been nominated for numerous awards at the Jazz FM, British Jazz, and Urban Music Awards. Alan Barnes is a prolific international performer, composer, arranger, bandleader and soloist.
The rest of the band features Dan Sheppard (bass) and Dave Ohm (drums).
