Dr Marcus Winter supervises research students exploring human- computer interaction and applied artificial intelligence in education, cultural
heritage and public engagement.
He is particularly interested in research generating new knowledge through the iterative, user-centered development and evaluation of design prototypes.
Dr Karina Rodriguez Echavarria co-leads the Computing and Mathematical Sciences Research Excellence Group which focuses on both theoretical and practical research in computer science challenges related to software systems, leading on the provision of digitisation and visualisation technologies.
