Ropetackle Saturday Sessions brings you a characteristically informal performance by this popular local band, with their distinctive original arrangements of folk tunes from these islands and further afield. The regular Mechanicals are Annie Messerschmidt, Ruth Stevens, Ian Chisholm and Barry Ruffell, with other musical colleagues joining in for special occasions. The instruments . . . many and various, but definitely including fiddles, guitar, flute, and nyckelharpa.
