New Year * New You – Awaken your inner dancer

Introducing six weeks of Healthy Dance through Yoga  – A first for Ropetackle

With elements of creative movement combined in our regular Classes.

A great opportunity to add fitness, flexibility & fun, whilst increasing your skills with improved  balance * posture * motivation & self-esteem.

Life itself is a dance and I will share a variety of techniques and historical anecdotes drawn from many years’ practice in different dance forms, notably Indian Classical Temple Dance with its deep connections to yoga.

Mondays from January 6th to February 10th 2020 with an extra hour (at no extra charge to you) on the 10th for a short colourful performance of Temple Dance with Indian snacks and chai!

Richard Durrant’s Ukulele Circuit Training & Ukulele Ground Zero

Two workshops run by Richard Durrant – ukulele virtuoso, composer and sometime Producer of The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.

Every Wednesday from 15th January to 19th February 2020

Ukulele Ground Zero

A six week introduction to uke playing for complete beginners. The most informative and complete way to start your ukulele adventures. Learn your first chords and gain technical stability from a world-renowned musician who happens to live a stone’s throw from Ropetackle.

Suitable for teenagers upwards

Six, 1-hour, weekly group sessions – 6.30 -7.30pm


Ukulele Circuit Training

Composer, guitarist and international ukulele virtuoso Richard Durrant returns to put a room full of ukulele players through their paces.

This exhilarating, six week course culminates with a performance in the Ropetackle auditorium in front of a paying audience on Wednesday 26th February. And who knows where else it may lead!

Players of mixed abilities are welcome but be prepared to work hard and play hard…

Six, one-hour, weekly group sessions plus the concert and possible other rehearsals.
