Ropetackle builds deeper business links with three-year Oakley Property sponsorship deal
Ropetackle Arts Centre is pleased to announce the signing of a three year sponsorship agreement with leading estate agency, Oakley Property.
Martin Allen, Ropetackle chairman, said: “We are delighted to welcome Oakley as one of our key sponsors. The support of such a leading business both in Shoreham and throughout the Greater Brighton area is not only a clear indication of the value of involvement in the arts, but also enables us to develop a deeper partnership.”
Oakley Director, Chris Oakley, said, “Working closely with the community and supporting local business is a key part of the long-term vision at Oakley. We have a long-standing relationship with Ropetackle Arts Centre and are thrilled to be able to extend our sponsorship for another three years.”
Martin Allen added that “it is particularly gratifying that, as we emerge from the pandemic, businesses are once again looking for opportunities to engage with the community, Ropetackle offering both a rich programme of live performance and film, as well as a wide range of community activities.”
The agreement was signed on Monday and announced by Ropetackle during an evening of talks on 19.10 about Shoreham Port, which was sponsored by Oakley. More than 130 people gathered to hear about the Port’s historic development, its day-to-day activities and its focus on sustainability and plans going forward.
Local historian Dr Geoff Mead, Port CEO Tom Willis and the Port’s Sustainability Manager, Cheyenne Plant delivered fascinating glimpses into the life and working of this tremendous, nationally-significant asset.
