Ropetackle Arts Portal Artist Professional Development Workshop Series Learning Skills Shoreham

Ropetackle Arts Portal: opening the door to professional practice in the arts.

Starting September 2017, Ropetackle is launching a new series of workshops offering precious insight for aspiring arts professionals.

Taking place on the third Saturday of each month, these professional development sessions will introduce participants to key skills and working practices across a wide range of disciplines within the arts.

Subjects lined up include: marketing, music publishing, songwriting, singing, event management, sound engineering, funding, business management, and music law.

The first four sessions, taking place this autumn, will cover the fundamentals of press and marketing (Sept 16, led by Ropetackle’s marketing manager Mark Phillips), music publishing (Oct 21, led by international music publisher Gill Graham, group head of promotion for international music publishers Music Sales), as well as a song-writing masterclass (Nov 18, led by acclaimed singer and songwriter Carleen Anderson), and a vocal masterclass (Jan 20, led by award-winning jazz singer Claire Martin OBE).

Spaces are limited so advance booking is highly recommended. Browse forthcoming sessions below.
