Local and Live presents: To Be Continued by Becky Edmunds

Becky Edmunds is an independent artist whose practice has spanned dance, theatre and filmmaking. She is currently fascinated by the stories, objects, photographs and films that are made by so called ‘ordinary’ people, and works to reinvest these often forgotten or abandoned stories with new life.

To Be Continued is inspired by a collection of journals that were found, 22 years ago, in a pile of rubbish. Written by a man called Dick Perceval, the journals cover the years 1925–1976. They tell of love, loss, war and family. To Be Continued is a web-series directed by Becky which brings Dick Perceval’s story to life using archive footage.

Part of the Local and Live mini-festival, a joint initiative between Ropetackle Arts Centre and Shoreham Wordfest, to celebrate the creativity of local writers, musicians, actors and poets and the return to live performance.

LOCAL AND LIVE FESTIVAL PASS: Enjoy 10 events* for just £60. Discount applied at the checkout.  *Excludes: The Noise Next Door, The Snow Queen and Frank Greene Band and The Beta Rays.
