The Stevie Watts Organ Trio, feat. Alice Armstrong + support from The Horndogs

Outstanding players, great original songs that make you dance as well as cry (in a good way!), infectious grooves and rip-roaring solos – not to be missed.

The Stevie Watts Organ Trio are all highly regarded session players having individually worked with names ranging from Steve Winwood to Archive to Thomas Dobly to The Spice Girls.

Stevie met Nat Martin on a show they were booked for as sidemen and they clicked musically and personally. They met up on the studio boat with drummer Vinnie Lammi to play through some ideas Stevie had written at home and their debut album Mission to the Moon began to form. That Christmas (we are talking 2017) the trio had a show in Sussex that Alice Armstrong was opening with her duo. Blown away by Alice, Stevie invited her to co-write on some tracks that required vocals. The following year they all met up (on the boat again) and recorded Mission to the Moon. It contains all original tracks.

Their influences come from 60s soul jazz, soul, funk, and blues, as well as the 70s soul influence of Donnie Hathaway. Together, they are something really special.
