The Legend of Sarila

Canadian Season

This CGI film draws heavily on Inuit culture and traditions. Set in northern Canada in 1920, it tells the story of three young Inuit who set out for the legendary land of Sarila in search of food for their clan. During this adventure, one of the trio, Markussi, finds out he is really an Inuit shaman.

Meanwhile the clan’s shaman at home makes repeated attempts to kill Markussi and undermine the quest.
