The Blunter Brothers

Classic funk, soul, and Motown!

The Blunter Brothers have been performing live since 1989, establishing themselves as one of the premiere ‘revue’ acts in the country. The band covers all the hits from artists such as James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Ray Charles, Curtis Mayfield, EW&F, Average White Band, and many more.

Pee Wee Ellis, sax player, music director, a co-composer for James Brown in the 60s said about the band: “a great gig… nice camaraderie between the guys and a good vibe.”

The band has supported many major acts including Edwin Starr, Sister Sledge, Ruby Turner, Rufus Thomas, Geno Washington, as well as collaborating with members of George Clinton’s Parliament-Funkadelic, and gigging Pee Wee Ellis.

Come along and dance the night away to classic soul, funk, and Motown!
