Jazz For Juniors Workshop

Part of the South Coast Jazz Festival 2017.

This year’s Jazz For Juniors promises to be every bit as inspiring as in previous years and will run along similar lines:

A series of prior gatherings with young musicians in the Brighton and Shoreham areas will lead up to the workshop on the morning of Saturday 28th January, followed by an afternoon showing of the work for parents, siblings and the public.

Julian (festival curator) will compose the material, with elements evolved by students during the workshops worked into this.

All comers between the ages of 10 and 17 are welcome – some capability on their instrument will useful as improvisation requires a degree of confidence, but in previous years we have included a great range of skill level without turning anyone away!

Please email info@southcoastjazzfestival.com for more information. Please include your child’s name, age and instrument and write ‘Jazz For Juniors’ in the subject area.
