South Coast Jazz Festival 2015 – Jazz For Absolute Beginners

Jazz For Absolute Beginners With Kevin LeGendre

Armed with a CD player and a handful of discs, Kevin LeGendre presents twelve recordings that have shaped his understanding of ‘the thing called jazz’. Known for his writing and broadcasting, for Jazzwise, the Independent On Sunday and BBC Radio 3, Kevin recounts his way into the music through tracks by legendary artists, less well known figures and players from other genres that have special relevance. At the end of the session, Kevin will also do a short Q&A and signing of his acclaimed book, Soul Unsung.
