Labour Party parliamentary candidate, TV presenter, writer, speaker, photographer, self-harm and suicide survivor… and transgender.

Sophie Cook is a media personality, politician and activist whose wide portfolio of work includes presenting, producing, writing and photography.

The first trans woman to work in the Premier League as club photographer for AFC Bournemouth, Sophie also became the first trans newscaster in Europe as news anchor for Brighton’s Latest TV.

In April 2017 she was selected by the Labour Party to contest the East Worthing and Shoreham seat, increasing Labour’s vote by 114% and narrowly missing out on becoming the UK’s first transgender MP, for now.

Sophie Cook talks about her amazing life, how she overcame fear, learnt to love herself, and turned her biggest anxieties into her greatest strengths.

£8 standard, £5 concessions.
