In our everyday life we can often experience “change” as something painful – change, seemingly causing us suffering and stress. 2500 years ago, the Buddha taught that it is not change that is painful but our reactions and resistances to it that cause most of
our suffering.

The similarities between the Buddha’s Teachings and the poetry of Robert Frost are
numerous. Robert Frost was also deeply concerned with the purpose and meaning
of life as he shows us both how life is and what life can be, with his beautiful
conversational style of poetry.

Dharmajit is an ordained Buddhist and teaches Buddhism and Meditation at the
Brighton Buddhist Centre.
