Short Stories, Tall Tales: The Big Top

This event was originally scheduled for November and postponed due to the lockdown. Tickets for the original dates remain valid.

Storytelling for babies, toddlers and parents. Actress and mum Hannah Summers brings classic and modern stories to life through live performance and interactive, creative play. Adventure into stories, explore through the senses and let your little ones’ imaginations run free.  Suitable for ages 0-4 years. Duration 45 mins.

The Big Top

Come and meet Bertie, the little boy with a big imagination.  On one stormy, rainy day Bertie is bored at home and from his very own bedroom he takes us all to an imaginative, colourful, circus show where anything is possible. Explore Bertie’s story through drama and role-play as Hannah expertly leads through interactive and creative storytelling to enthral your little one’s imagination.

An original tale, written and told by Hannah Summers. Illustrations by Miranda Summers.

Hannah is exceptionally pleased to be back at Ropetackle and her storytelling sessions have been adjusted to reflect current guidance, ensuring that you and your little ones enjoy safe, interactive play together.

Ropetackle has taken exceptional care providing a safe venue and is limiting the capacity of children and adults to each storytelling show.  This will allow comfortable space for your family.

Adults are required to wear face coverings in the theatre unless medically exempt.

Hannah and the children will be mask free.
