Short Stories Tall Tales turns digital during lockdown, with two exclusive online storytelling session for babies, pre-schoolers and early years primary children, and parents this Easter!

Actress and mum Hannah Summers brings classic and modern stories to life through live performance and interactive, creative play. Adventure into stories, explore through the senses and let your little ones’ imaginations run free. Suitable for ages 0-6 years. Duration 35 mins. There’s a new story every month!

The Big Top. An original tale written and told by Hannah Summers, with illustrations by Miranda Summers.

Come and meet Bertie, the little boy with a big imagination. On one stormy rainy day, Bertie is bored at home and from his very own bedroom takes us to an imaginative, colourful, circus show where anything is possible.

Explore Bertie’s story through drama and role-play as Hannah expertly leads through interactive and creative storytelling to enthral your little ones’ imagination.

You will receive a link to the screening in your booking confirmation. The screening will take place at 11am on Friday 16 April and will be available to view up to 24 hours after.

Home props! Get involved and grab the following items:

Colourful, floaty scarves, ribbons and anything sparkly that you can put on. Balloons, or a small cushion or cuddly toy to balance with.

As the story unfolds, Hannah will let you know how and when to use these props with your children.
