Shoreham Wordfest: TEEN People

Teen People Shoreham Wordfest Ropetackle
Teen People Shoreham Wordfest Ropetackle

The year is 1974. Welcome to your future.

Strikes, power cuts and Terry Jacks at number #1 are the least of our worries. There are threats from beyond this Earth and our only line of defence is the TEEN People. John, Jenny and Tizer: three teenagers with super space powers, defending our island from those who seek to upset us.

First performed in 1990, Simon Messingham and Mark Gatiss’s play about 1970s children’s television toured successfully for four years but has never been seen since. Now, in a new ‘Brexit and Trump’ world order, its mix of daft physical comedy and devastating political satire is back. Never has England needed the TEEN People more!

Presented by Shoreham Wordfest in conjunction with Button Pressed Productions.
