Shot through with diabolical horror, absurd confessions and humour fit for the unholy ghost, Tim shines a spotlight on Him Downstairs, Old Nick, Beelzebub, in a wild reimagining of folklore, fairytale and urban legends with a distinct whiff of sulphur… before whisking us away to 1600s Scotland to hear the stories of Reverend Robert Kirk, the seventh son of a seventh son blessed with second sight, whose manuscript revealing the secrets of the Fair Folk was left mysteriously unfinished after a visit to the fairy mounds…
Often dark, twisted, and superbly strange, Tim asks what it means that we have fallen out of relationship with our unseen neighbours, and if even the Devil might be ready for a rebrand.
