“One of Britain’s great landscape artists”
This documentary about Sussex-bred British Official War Artist Eric Ravilious (1903 – 1942) makes good use of his art, his letters and diary entries, while not neglecting the role and significance of his wife, Tirzah Garwood.
Also features: Ai Weiwei, Alan Bennett, Grayson Perry, Robert Macfarlane.
Ravilious’ artwork can be viewed free at the Towner Gallery, Eastbourne.
