Michael Putland’s portfolio is literally an A – Z of music, from Abba to Zappa (and Zeppelin.) He took his first pictures at the age of nine before leaving school to work as an assistant to photographers including Time-Life photographer, Walter Curtain and legendary motor racing photographer, Louis Klemantaski. In 1967, Putland set up his own studio and over the course of his career he has captured some of music’s most iconic performers.
This two hour session will cover composition techniques, working in the live environment as well as the challenges facing today’s aspiring music photographers. Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn from a master of the art.
