Richard Durrant presents: Rewilding

On album launch day, Richard Durrant presents his new musical creation: Rewilding. Richard began work on the album in January 2020 continuing throughout lock-down. “The world changed and so did my music,” he says.

This special event includes an illustrated talk by Richard and a chance to hear the album in its entirety played from the newly mastered hi-res audio. The event ends with a Q&A session.
The 90 minute event will begin at 11am and will be repeated at 2pm to allow space for a Covid safe, socially distanced audience. The 2pm event will also be streamed live to Richard’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
“Throughout all that has happened, the concept of rewilding (nature’s path of least resistance) has held my interest,” Richard says. “Many ideas for beautiful sounds and combinations of instruments arrived as a consequence, including turtle doves, contra-bassoon, nightingales, cello, cuckoos, ukuleles, oboe and berimbau. They’re all there on the new album.”
