PP Arnold + Support

Arriving in England during the 60s as an ‘Ikette’ with the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, PP Arnold was originally spotted by Mick Jagger and soon after signed her first record deal. Several huge hits followed including ‘The First Cut Is The Deepest’, ‘Angel Of The Morning’, and ‘If You Think You’re Groovy’, cementing PP as one of the most iconic faces in swinging 60s London.

PP has collaborated, recorded, worked and toured alongside such luminaries as The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, The Small Faces, Rod Stewart, Barry Gibb, Eric Clapton, Roger Waters, Ocean Colour Scene, and Paul Weller… the list goes on! Her session credits read like a who’s who of iconic music, covering more than four decades of rock n’ roll and pop history.

Alongside this PP has delighted audiences on stage, film and television. Her West End credits include Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express and the Olivier Award winning Once On This Island. Her film soundtracks include Electric Dreams, Super Grass, and Seven Psychopaths. And her TV credits include Top Of The Pops, Absolutely Fabulous, Later… With Jools Holland, and TFI Friday to name a few.

In short, PP Arnold is a bona fide legend. 2017 sees her celebrate an astonishing 50 years in the music industry, with a new nationwide tour coming to Ropetackle. Hear classic songs and new tunes in an incredible night of music, all backed by her fantastic all-star band.
