Miss Sherlock Holmes

Join Lantern Light for an exciting adventure with Miss Sherlock Holmes and her loyal companion Dr Jane Watson, in a rarely performed series of short 19th-century Sherlock Holmes plays, set in contemporary Baker Street.

Across three separate evenings Miss Holmes is visited at home by: a desperate woman searching for her boyfriend, a terrified robbery victim and the dark, deadly villain known only as ‘The Colonel’.

Drugs, danger, diamonds – just a standard night in for Miss Sherlock Holmes…!

Originally commissioned by The Conan Doyle Collection (Portsmouth) and premiered at the historic Round Tower, Hotwalls, as part of the’Summer of Sherlock 2019′ festival, the show is now on tour for 2022. ‘Miss Sherlock Holmes – A Triple Bill’ is a unique and rarely performed triple bill of three short Sherlock Holmes stage plays by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his contemporaries, pulled from the archive of the Conan Doyle Collection and Lantern Light Theatre Company’s own research.

Cast – Francesca McCrohon (Miss Sherlock Holmes), Eva Savage (Dr Jane Watson), Serche Deveraux (Billie), Debbie Bridge (The Colonel), Mia Rose Finnigan (Gwendolyn Cobb), Joshua Plummer (Sam Merton/William De Vinne)
