Wednesday 7th February 2018 - Starts 8pm
“Who better to give it to us straight than this New Yoiker?” ~ The Independent
Unopened Letters From My Mother
New York comic Lewis Schaffer finds meaning and humour in a family tragedy. Schaffer had 23 unopened and unread letters from his late mother, sent before she died alone in New York. But why hadn’t he read them? And what happened when he opened them, some 15 years later?
“The show is extraordinary. It picks its audience up and carries them into a vortex of awfully funny and plain awful.” ~ The Scotsman
