Jazz Breakfast With Mike Hatchard (Sept)
Enrico Tomasso makes his Jazz Breakfast debut. A man who started playing trumpet at the age of five, his biggest inspiration was Louis Armstrong, whom he met and played for during Louis’ visits to England in the 60s. This led to a lasting friendship until Louis’ death. Rico is one of Britain’s brightest and most versatile jazz stars. He spent twelve years with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, and then a long stint with Ray Gelato. He is joined for this inaugural gig of the autumn season by an all-star cast, the great Paul Morgan on bass, Bobby Worth on drums, Shane Hill on guitar, and of course Mike Hatchard on keyboards.
Please note, Derek Nash was originally due to perform but unfortunately had to pull out.
