The Brighton Beach Boys, featuring Glen Richardson, Steve Wrigley and Charlotte Glasson, mark the 2nd Anniversary of David Bowie’s untimely death. The band will perform a special show of his songs, highlighting the classic album Hunky Dory in its entirety, plus a set of hits from throughout Bowie’s astonishing career. Released in December 1971, Hunky Dory features a range of styles, with the pop of Changes, Kooks and Life on Mars featuring alongside more personal tributes to the artists who were influencing him, in the form of Song for Bob Dylan, Andy Warhol and Queen Bitch, written in tribute to Lou Reed and The Velvet Underground. This promises to be a night to remember.
