Hatful Of Rain

“The combination of mandolin, banjo, bass and fiddle is nigh-on perfect, the songs have space to grow but they know exactly when to roll with it.” ~ Spiral Earth

Hatful of Rain return to Ropetackle with their unforgettable blend of British Folk and Americana. Their songs centre around themes of love and loss, domestic hardship, migration and identity, simultaneously melancholic and joyful.

Formed in 2010, they have released three albums and one EP to date and toured widely on the UK folk circuit, playing theatres, clubs and festivals. In 2021, multi-instrumentalist Scott Smith joined the band. They are working on new material due for release next year.
