Greg Byron Wordshow

Tuesday 2nd October 2018 - Starts 8pm

“Compelling to watch” ~ The Guardian

“Like watching John Cooper Clarke snog Pam Ayres in the rain” ~ BBC Radio

Join performance poet Greg Byron for a captivating evening of words and wordplay. Greg touches on all manner of subjects, from political outrage to the quest for knowledge, modern life to memory and social comment, all with a twinkle, a grimace and a wry pointy finger!

Greg paints ‘character portraits’ with short, sharp prose. Delivered with passion and play, he can be comic, twisted or absurd, witty, wistful or sardonically angry.

He has performed in bookshops, on beaches, under the stars, in tents, forests, and village halls all across the world. Spoken word or performance poetry, call it what you want, with Greg Byron at the helm, it’s all words and wordplay.
