Golden Years: Bowie
Friday 1st September 2017 -
“Pretty much all the Bowie you wanted.” ~ ★★★★ The Argus
Back by popular demand following their sold-out show in February, we are delighted to offer another chance to see this fantastic Bowie show.
Formed as an instinctive response to celebrate the life and music of the late, great David Bowie, ‘Golden Years’ were assembled by Stephen Wrigley of the Brighton Beach Boys, accompanied by the talents of Glen Richardson, Theseus Gerrard and Adrian Marshall. The band recreate the hits of Bowie, drawing on material from throughout his illustrious career, and are completed by Dave Barnard on bass and Charlotte Glasson on flute, recorders and saxes.
Whether supplied by Major Tom or Jean Genie, the Kooks or Ziggy Stardust, this is an evening full of tales, dreams of a rock maestro, and a glorious celebration of his unique talent.
