Faustus Folk Shoreham Ropetackle

‘The concept? To rescue contemporary folk from the curse of feyness… bloke-folk!’ ~ ★★★★ Independent On Sunday

Previously nominated for Best Group in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and touring in the wake of their latest album ‘Broken Down Gentlemen’, Faustus brings to the stage three of the leading lights of their generation: Paul Sartin (Bellowhead, Belshazzar’s Feast), Benji Kirkpatrick (Seth Lakeman Band, Bellowhead), and Saul Rose (Waterson:Carthy, Whapweazel, War Horse).

Together they have a plethora of experience between them, resulting in a virtuosic display of musicianship and testosterone that represents the best of contemporary English folk.

‘A distinctive blend of subtlety and attack.’ ~ ★★★★ The Guardian
