“Extraordinary… I was absolutely blown away” ~ Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music

Edgelarks is the new name for BBC award-winning duo Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin. Together they fuse a range of styles from traditional musics of the British Isles, to Indian classical slide guitar, via the stomping roots party of Phil’s beatbox harmonica.

Following in the footsteps of the ancient troubadour tradition, Phillip and Hannah began their musical journey travelling together, picking up tunes, songs and stories along the way. Spotted busking on the seafront by roots legend Steve Knightley, they soon found themselves touring nationally, supporting the likes of Show Of Hands and Seth Lakeman, eventually winning ‘Best Duo’ at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2014.

Edgelarks, which is both their new band name and their fourth studio album, talks about places and people of transition and change. From borders to crossroads, travellers to refugees; there is more that unites than divides us, and their music conveys this message with power, originality and grace.

Please note, the price printed in the brochure is incorrectly listed as £10, the correct ticket price is £14.
