Dana Gillespie and The London Blues Band
Dana Gillespie made her first record in 1964 and all these
years later she is still touring and recording. Blues music has always been her first love, and she is one of the finest vocalists of the genre.
In 2019 she released her 70th album, Under My Bed, on
Ace Records.
In the 1970s, Dana performed as the first Mary Magdalene in
the West End musical Jesus Christ Superstar.
She was also the vocalist on David Bowie’s song ‘Andy
Warhol’ from the album Ziggy Stardust.
Dana will be accompanied by The London Blues Band, who
are considered to be the cream of the London blues scene.
