Excellent November Barnstormers Comedy show in prospect at the Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham-by-Sea

It’s November, it’s dark, and there’s a temproray reprieve in relation to the various political goings-on. A fine time then, to seek a temporary distraction in the form of a comedic shot-in-the-arm courtesy of Barnstormers Comedy.

As ever, longstanding Barnstormers Comedy MC Kevin Precious (pictured)   will be on hand to introduce three more top acts from the London Comedy Comedy Circuit and beyond. This month, they comprise: salt-of-the-earth raconteur and storyteller Barry Castagnola, ‘So confident in the delivery of his material…you’ve got to admire his no-frills approach’ – The Stage; the acerbic young fogey that is Paul McCaffrey, ‘He has charm, charisma and success written all over him’ – Evening Standard; and hilariously put-upon ageing New Age dad Marc Lucero, “Lucero certainly has the comic instincts and high-quality material that would shame many a more successful act.” – Chortle.

After two critically acclaimed Edinburgh shows (‘Fantastically innovative and astonishingly funny.’ ***** The List) and a stint on The 11O’Clock Show, Cyderdelic won the inaugural BBC2 Green Light Award for comedy, the prize for which was a one-off programme for the channel. This was then developed into a six-part series for BBC3. Cyderdelic: The Revolution Will Be Televised.
