Barb Jungr Presents: Bob, Brel and Me

Britain’s legendary cult singer and performer presents her new collection, Bob, Brel and Me in which she turns again to two colossi, Bob Dylan and Jacques Brel, whose writing has helped to define her career as the leading interpreter of popular song.

Originally emerging from the alternative cabaret scene of the 1970’s and 80’s, where she cut her teeth alongside the likes of Julian Clary and Alexei Sayle, Barb’s ability to deliver shows that are utterly alive and spontaneously respond to the world in and outside the performance space is second to none.

“One of the world’s great cabaret singers… a genuine original, deploying warmth, high drama and sensitive musicality to reinvent everything she singsTime Out New York

“A fearless iconoclast who dives into the deepest waters of popular song to wrest exotic treasure from the ocean floor” The New York Times
