“If you are not dancing, you should have someone check your pulse, the party atmosphere was irrepressible” ~ Evening Standard

Celebrating 25 years of African rhythm and Celtic soul, Baka Beyond are one of the finest danceable outfits in the world, creating the sound of the global village.

The energy of their uplifting fiery beats, enchanting harmonies and spectacular dancing defies anybody to sit still. From Brazil to Alaska, Norway to Spain, audiences dance their socks off, enthralled by enchanting Celtic harmonies and traditional forest singing.

A feast for the eyes, heart, ears and feet, band members hail from Cameroon, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Congo, Ghana and Britain. Martin Cradick (guitar), Su Hart and Ellie Jamison (vocals) are joined by Kibisingo (bass), Ayodele Scott (percussion) and Clyde Kramer (drums).

Baka Beyond are inspired by the Baka people of Cameroon; a group they support through an ongoing Global Music Exchange project. Their live show features rare footage of Martin and Su living and performing with the Baka people in their rainforest home.

£16 seated, £15 standing.
