A Garden Story: Peter Owen-Jones

Tuesday 9th October 2018 - Starts 7.30pm

Message from Shoreham Wordfest

Peter has contacted us to let us know that he has a very bad throat infection and has been advised by his doctors to cancel all immediate engagements until he is fully recovered, so he has regretfully cancelled his appearance at this year’s Shoreham Wordfest on Tuesday 9 October.

We know this will be a disappointment for the many people who were looking forward to hearing from Peter again, and we will be working with him to arrange something for Wordfest in 2019.  Meanwhile we wish him a speedy recovery.

If you have not already received a refund, please contact the Ropetackle Box Office: 01273 464440.

Following the great success of his talk during last year’s Wordfest, Peter returns to share ideas about the environment and the need to care for the planet so we leave a world to inherit that’s worth living in.

As a house for duty priest living on the South Downs, Peter has a passion for Sussex and its glorious countryside, celebrated in his book Pathlands and in recent BBC television programmes.

At this poignant time in human evolution when the world’s economic, political and social paradigms are at a tipping point of major change, Peter has innovative thoughts on how to move with the times and become more responsible, ethical and purposeful.
